Our Story
Manavgoat was born from a simple idea: Manavgat deserves a guide that feels local, useful, honest and alive.
Launched in July 2026, Manavgoat is a "Side & Manavgat-Focused Community Platform and Digital Guide."
Many travel websites show you the same famous places: the waterfall, Side Ancient City, a few beaches, a few tours. They are helpful, but they often miss the real questions people have when they actually arrive here.
Manavgoat was created to answer those questions in one place.
It was built and developed by a Manavgat-born English teacher and published author who knows the region not only as a local, but also as someone who understands how visitors search, ask, travel and try to make sense of a new place.
We are building a practical, independent and community-driven guide for Manavgat, Side and the surrounding area. From beaches, waterfalls, canyons and ancient towns to transport, food, safety, local culture, healthcare, shopping and everyday travel tips, our goal is to make Manavgat easier to explore and easier to understand.
The name is playful, but it also belongs to this land.
Manavgat is not only known for its river, waterfall, coastline and ancient history. In the mountains around Manavgat, wild goats are part of the rugged natural landscape; in its villages, goats are part of rural life, local memory and everyday culture. That is why the goat is more than a mascot for us. It is a small symbol of Manavgat’s nature, villages, resilience and character.
"GOAT" also means "Greatest Of All Time," and Manavgoat is here to help visitors experience the greatest of Manavgat, not only the famous sights, but also the small details that make a trip smoother, safer and more memorable.
