Manavgoat is an independently operated, Side and Manavgat-focused community platform and digital guide available at manavgoat.com.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Manavgoat," "we," "us" and "our" refer to the independent operator responsible for managing the website and the personal data processed through its services.

Manavgoat provides travel information, local guides, community features, maps, deals, games, interactive experiences and practical visitor information.

Browser Storage and Personal GoatMap State

GoatMap may store certain map preferences and personal map settings locally in your browser or device to make the map easier to use.

This may include map view and display preferences, map content selections, Saved Places identifiers and, if you choose to use My Hotel, the hotel name and coordinates you select.

This information is stored locally in your browser and is not added to your Manavgoat member account or stored in Manavgoat’s CMS. It is not intended to create a Manavgoat profile of your movements or travel history and is not automatically synchronized between devices.

Saved Places use only the information needed to remember the selected Manavgoat items. My Hotel information remains on the device unless you remove it or clear the relevant browser or site data.

Precise location is used only when you actively choose a location-based feature, such as Live Location, Near Me or route-related functions, and allow location access through your browser or device. You can deny or withdraw location permission at any time through your browser or device settings.

Live Location is processed temporarily while the feature is active. Manavgoat does not use Live Location to create or store a history of your movements.

When you actively use mapping, search, geocoding or routing features, information necessary to provide that feature, which may include selected coordinates or location-related information, may be sent to third-party map service providers such as Mapbox in accordance with their applicable privacy terms.

GoatGame and Anonymous Statistics

GoatGame stores your game progress, answers, selected language and whether completed-game statistics have already been submitted in your browser’s local storage. This allows you to continue the game after refreshing or reopening the page.

When you complete GoatGame, anonymous aggregate statistics may be sent to Google Firebase. These statistics include the total number of players and the number of "Yes" answers given to each question. Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous technical session for this purpose.

The statistics sent by GoatGame do not include your name, email address, downloaded cards or precise device location. Goat Rank and Manavgoat Wrapped cards are generated directly in your browser and are not uploaded to Manavgoat or Firebase.

Infrastructure and Security Providers

Manavgoat uses third-party infrastructure and security providers to operate, deliver and protect parts of the website and related Manavgoat products and services.

Cloudflare may be used for website and application hosting, content delivery, network performance, security, abuse prevention and related technical functions. When you access services delivered through Cloudflare, technical information necessary to provide and protect those services — such as IP address, request and connection information, browser or device information and security-related signals — may be processed by Cloudflare in accordance with its own privacy practices.

Provide Manavgoat features, tools, community areas, games and interactive experiences

User-Shared Personal Information

Members are responsible for any personal information they choose to share publicly on Manavgoat, including in profiles, posts, comments, photos, reviews, tips or other user-generated content.

Please do not share private or sensitive information such as phone numbers, exact addresses, hotel room numbers, passport or ID details, payment information, private documents or personal information about other people.

Manavgoat is not responsible for personal information that members voluntarily share in public or community areas, to the extent permitted by law.

Manavgoat may remove or restrict publicly shared personal information when it violates our policies, creates safety risks or is required for moderation, legal, security or technical reasons.

Goat for Good Submissions

When you submit a contribution to Goat for Good, we may collect the name of the person, group, business, hotel or organization making the contribution, participant count, country, location, time spent, an optional Instagram username, before and after photos, and your consent confirmations.

We use this information to review and moderate submissions, publish approved contributions, calculate community impact statistics, and feature selected contributions on Manavgoat or its social media channels where permission has been provided.

Approved submissions may be displayed publicly together with the submitted name or group/business name, country, location, photos and optional Instagram username.

You may request the removal of a Goat for Good submission or associated personal information by contacting Manavgoat.

4. Member Profile Information and Account Removal

If you create a Manavgoat member account, some profile information may be visible depending on your profile visibility settings and Manavgoat member area features.

Depending on these settings, your Display Name, Profile URL, Profile Photo and optional profile fields may be visible to other members and may allow people to interact with you.

If you hide your profile, your profile page and social features may be hidden or limited. This may also limit how other members can find you, view your profile, interact with you or how you can interact with them in the community.

Your First Name, Last Name and email address are not shown to other members or site visitors, whether your profile is public or hidden.

Optional profile fields may include About, Preferred Language, Country / From, User Type, Staying / Interested Area, Travel Style and Interests. These fields are voluntary. You should only share information you feel comfortable sharing.

Please do not include sensitive or private information in your public profile, posts, comments or photos. This includes phone numbers, exact addresses, hotel room numbers, passport or ID details, payment information and private documents.

Manavgoat may process profile information, profile photos, badges, community activity and account information to operate the member area, support community features, moderate content, prevent abuse and improve the platform.

Member badges are managed manually by Manavgoat and may be visible on member profiles or community areas depending on site features and visibility settings.

Manavgoat uses Wix as its website and member service provider. Due to the current Wix member system, members may not be able to delete their account directly from the website.

Members may be able to remove their account through the Spaces by Wix mobile app, or they may hide their profile through their profile visibility settings.

If you want Manavgoat to remove your account manually, please use the form in the website footer and select "Account Removal Request" as the subject.

When we receive an account removal request, we may review the request and delete, deactivate or remove the member account where possible.

If your account activity does not require review for legal, security, moderation, dispute, fraud prevention, technical or administrative reasons, your account may be removed as soon as possible.

Manavgoat may retain certain information where necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, moderation, dispute handling, technical, administrative or record-keeping purposes.

You can manage your email and subscription preferences from your account settings. Manavgoat does not send promotional emails unless you have subscribed, enabled relevant email preferences or clearly agreed to receive them.

Necessary account, security, technical, transactional or service-related emails may still be sent.

Your email address is not shown to other members or site visitors and is not shared for advertising purposes.
