Welcome to Manavgoat.

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using Manavgoat, including our website, guides, community features, GoatMap, GoatPlaces, GoatBlog, GoatCommunity, GoatDeals, GoatGame and related services.

By using Manavgoat, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Who We Are

Manavgoat is a Side and Manavgat-focused community platform and digital guide.

We provide travel information, local guides, maps, place pages, blog content, community features, deals, games and practical visitor information for Manavgat, Side and the surrounding area.

2. Use of Manavgoat

You may use Manavgoat for personal, informational and community purposes.

You agree to use the website respectfully, lawfully and in a way that does not harm Manavgoat, other users, local people, businesses, public authorities or the community.

You must not use Manavgoat for illegal activity, spam, harassment, fraud, impersonation, abuse, harmful content, unauthorized advertising or any activity that may damage the website or its users.

3. Community Purpose

Manavgoat community (GoatCommunity) areas are created for helping each other, asking questions, sharing real experiences and exchanging useful information.

They are not created for advertising, selling, public accusations, reputation attacks, political fights, harassment or personal disputes.

Community posts should be helpful, respectful, clear and relevant to the topic.

4. Languages

Manavgoat community areas are intended for tourists and international visitors.

Allowed community languages are:

  • English

  • Deutsch

  • Русский

You may post the same question in more than one allowed language if you want to reach more people.

Turkish posts are not allowed in community areas unless Manavgoat clearly allows an exception.

Turkish-only posts may be removed and may result in a temporary ban.

Manavgoat website content is presented in English, Deutsch and Русский. English is the main platform language of Manavgoat and the preferred common language of the Manavgoat Community. Members may also post and comment in Deutsch and Русский.

Automated system emails may be sent in English, Deutsch or Русский, depending on the recipient’s recorded language and the availability of a translated email version. If the recipient’s recorded language is neither Deutsch nor Русский, or if no matching translated version is available, the email will be sent in English.

5. No Advertising

User advertising is not allowed in Manavgoat community areas unless clearly approved by Manavgoat.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Business promotions

  • Tour offers

  • Transfer offers

  • Rental offers

  • Real estate ads

  • Job ads

  • Discount codes

  • Affiliate links

  • WhatsApp sales messages

  • Repeated commercial posts

  • "Book now" style posts

  • Private offers or direct sales messages

Advertising or commercial misuse may result in content removal, account restriction or permanent ban.

6. No Naming, Shaming or Targeting

You must not use Manavgoat to attack, blame, shame, threaten, harass or damage the reputation of any person, driver, guide, hotel, restaurant, café, shop, agency, company, local business, public office, official authority, community member or place.

You must not post:

  • Names of people or businesses in accusations

  • Phone numbers

  • Addresses

  • License plates

  • Private messages

  • Personal details

  • Documents

  • Booking details

  • Direct accusations

  • Revenge posts

  • Rumours or unverified claims

Targeting people, places, institutions or businesses may result in content removal, account restriction or permanent ban.

You may share experiences in a respectful, general and helpful way, but Manavgoat is not a place for public accusations or reputation damage.

7. Member Profiles, Profile Visibility, Badges and Account Control

Some features may require an account or member profile.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

You must not create fake accounts, impersonate another person, use another user’s account or provide false information.​

Members may have a Manavgoat profile connected to their account and community activity.

Depending on profile visibility settings and Manavgoat member area features, a member’s Display Name, Profile URL, Profile Photo and optional profile fields may be visible to other members and may allow people to interact with them.

If a member hides their profile, their profile page and social features may be hidden or limited. This may also limit how other members can find them, view their profile, interact with them or how they can interact with others in the community.

A member’s First Name, Last Name and email address are not shown to other members or site visitors, whether the profile is public or hidden.

Optional profile fields may include About, Preferred Language, Country / From, User Type, Staying / Interested Area, Travel Style and Interests. These fields are voluntary. Members should only share information they feel comfortable sharing.

Member profiles must not be used for advertising, selling, spam, business promotion, impersonation, harmful content, offensive content, sexual content, hate speech, misleading information, official authority impersonation or abuse.

Members must not include phone numbers, exact addresses, hotel room numbers, passport or ID details, payment information or private documents in public profile areas.

Profile photos must not include advertising, business logos, phone numbers, websites, QR codes, offensive content, sexual content, hate symbols, impersonation, official authority names or photos of other people without permission.

Manavgoat may remove profile information, remove profile photos, change visibility, suspend accounts or ban members who use profiles for advertising, spam, harmful content, impersonation or abuse.

Member badges are given manually by Manavgoat. Badges may recognize helpful contributions, reliable local knowledge, travel experience, useful photos, verified support or official founder status.

Badges are not automatic, guaranteed or permanent. Manavgoat may add, remove or update badges at its discretion.

Manavgoat uses Wix as its website and member service provider. Due to the current Wix member system, members may not be able to delete their account directly from the website.

Members may be able to remove their account through the Spaces by Wix mobile app, or hide their profile through their profile visibility settings.

Members who want Manavgoat to remove their account manually should use the form in the website footer and select “Account Removal Request” as the subject.

Manavgoat may review account removal requests and may delete, deactivate or remove member accounts where possible.

If a member’s account activity does not require review for legal, security, moderation, dispute, fraud prevention, technical or administrative reasons, the account may be removed as soon as possible.

Members can manage their email and subscription preferences from their account settings. Promotional emails are not sent unless the member has subscribed, enabled relevant email preferences or clearly agreed to receive them.

Necessary account, security, technical, transactional or service-related emails may still be sent.

8. User Content

You are responsible for the content you post, upload or share on Manavgoat.

This may include posts, comments, photos, reviews, questions, tips, stories, game ranks, feedback and other material.

By posting content on Manavgoat, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to share it

  • It does not violate the rights of others

  • It does not contain illegal, harmful, abusive, misleading or private information

  • It follows these Terms of Use and our Community Guidelines

You keep ownership of your own content, but you give Manavgoat permission to display, use, share, moderate, edit, format, remove or promote that content within Manavgoat and related Manavgoat features.

User Responsibility and Liability for User Content

Users are solely responsible for any content they post, upload, submit, publish or share on Manavgoat. This includes posts, comments, photos, profile information, reviews, tips, messages, stories and any other user-generated content.

By sharing content on Manavgoat, users represent and confirm that they have the right to share that content and that the content does not violate any applicable law, third-party rights, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, personal rights, business rights or Manavgoat policies.

Manavgoat does not guarantee, endorse or assume responsibility for user-generated content. User-generated content reflects the views and responsibility of the person who shared it, not necessarily Manavgoat.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manavgoat shall not be responsible for any legal issues, disputes, claims, damages, losses, costs or consequences arising from user-generated content shared by users.

Manavgoat reserves the right to remove, restrict, moderate, report, archive or preserve user-generated content when necessary for moderation, security, legal compliance, dispute handling, technical operation or protection of the community.

9. Photos and Media

Only upload photos, videos or media that you have the right to share.

Do not upload copyrighted material, private images, images of people without permission, sensitive documents, personal information or content that may harm others.

Wix notes that website users are responsible for the content they upload and should have the copyright owner’s approval before using protected content.

Manavgoat may remove media that violates these Terms, Community Guidelines, copyright rules, privacy rights or safety standards.

10. Reviews, Opinions and Experiences

Reviews and opinions must be respectful, general, factual and useful.

You may share your experience, but you must not use reviews or posts to attack, insult, threaten, shame, target or damage the reputation of a person, business or place.

Manavgoat may remove reviews, opinions or experience posts that appear abusive, misleading, defamatory, promotional, fake, unsafe or harmful.

 
11. GoatMap and Location Information

GoatMap may provide tourism and transport-related map information, routes, places, areas or location-based features.

Map information may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate.

Routes, transport options, opening hours, prices, access conditions and local rules may change.

Always check important details before travelling, driving, walking, booking or visiting a place.

Manavgoat is not responsible for decisions made based on map information.

12. GoatPlaces

GoatPlaces provides area guide pages for Manavgat’s tourist regions. These guides may bring together information about places, landmarks, beaches, routes, attractions, local spots and useful locations shown on GoatMap.
Manavgoat tries to provide helpful and accurate information, but area details, place information and local conditions may change at any time.
Opening hours, prices, access rules, safety conditions, facilities, transport options, availability and service details should be checked directly with the relevant place, provider, official source or local authority before visiting or relying on the information.

13. GoatBlog

GoatBlog provides travel guides, local stories, tips and practical information.

Blog content is for general informational purposes only.

It should not be treated as professional legal, medical, financial, safety, transport or official advice.

14. GoatDeals and External Offers

GoatDeals may feature affiliate deals, referral links, booking links, selected discounts and links to third-party travel services.

Deals, discounts and external services featured on GoatDeals are provided by third-party affiliate providers.

Manavgoat does not control external prices, availability, booking terms, cancellation or refund policies, service quality or provider actions.

Always check the terms, prices, availability and policies of the relevant external provider before making a purchase, booking or using any service.

15. GoatGame

GoatGame is a playful feature of Manavgoat.

Game scores, ranks or results may be shared for fun and community interaction.

Do not use GoatGame to spam, cheat, harass others, post offensive content or manipulate rankings.

Manavgoat may remove suspicious, abusive or inappropriate game-related content.

16. Intellectual Property

Manavgoat, GoatMap, GoatPlaces, GoatBlog, GoatCommunity, GoatDeals, GoatGame, the Manavgoat logo, slogan, platform structure, page layouts, guide format, maps, categories, written content, visual identity and original materials are protected parts of the Manavgoat brand and platform.

Users may not copy, reproduce, scrape, imitate, translate, adapt, republish, sell, commercially exploit or create confusingly similar versions of Manavgoat content, branding or platform features.

17. Events and News

Users may share helpful event information or local updates where allowed.

Event posts should be clear, factual and useful. They should include relevant details such as date, time, location and price or free entry information.

Event sharing is allowed as an exception only when it is informational. It must not become advertising, spam, discount promotion, private sales, WhatsApp sales or "book now" posting.

News posts must be factual, relevant and helpful. Do not spread panic, misinformation, rumours or political fights.

Manavgoat tries to provide useful and accurate information, but we cannot guarantee that all information is always complete, current or error-free.

Manavgoat may contain links to external websites, booking platforms, tour providers, travel services, maps, businesses, social media pages, affiliate partners or deal pages.

When you click an external link, you may leave Manavgoat.

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, prices, policies, services, actions or availability of external websites or third parties.

21. Moderation

Manavgoat may moderate community areas, posts, comments, photos, accounts, game content, reviews and other user content.

We may remove, edit, hide, restrict or report content that violates these Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, group rules or applicable law.

We may suspend or ban users temporarily or permanently depending on the violation.

We are not required to publish, keep or explain every moderation decision.

22. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to Manavgoat if you violate these Terms, Community Guidelines, group rules or applicable law.

Reasons may include:

  • Targeting, naming or shaming

  • Fake accounts

  • Fraud or suspicious activity

  • Sharing private information

  • Illegal content

  • Repeated rule violations

  • Security risks

23. Limitation of Liability

Manavgoat is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free, secure, uninterrupted or fully accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manavgoat is not responsible for losses, damages, injuries, disputes, bookings, purchases, travel problems, missed transport, inaccurate information, external services, user content or decisions made based on information found on the website.
